Charlotte Doyle Scavenger Hunt
Charlotte is very confused about what to do with the dirk Zachariah has given her. Since Captain Jaggery allows her freedom of the ship, she would like to hide it on board. Help Charlotte hide the dirk and create a scavenger hunt to find it with 15 clues using the parts of the ship.
Object is to get all ship diagram numbers correct or WALK THE PLANK!!

CREATE A SELF-CHECKING SHEET IN EXCEL! Open a blank workbook in Excel. Look in Microsoft Office (butterfly icon) and the green X symbol
2. Label cell A1 “SHIP CLUE” – MAKE IT BOLD
3. Label cell B1 “SHIP NUMBER” – MAKE IT BOLD
4. Label cell C1 “ ANSWER” – MAKE IT BOLD

5. In cell A2 type the clue for the ship part. Ex: Journey to the ekel. (The ship part here has been scrambled). You might also use locations such as Journey to the room where Charlotte had tea.

6. Leave B2 blank. This is where the answer will be typed by your partner.
7. In cell C2 enter the formula below:
=IF(B2=1,"Right, Matey!",(IF((ISBLANK(B2)),"","Walk the Plank!"))) 8. Continue entering your clues in column A (Ten in all)

9. You do not have to keep reentering the formula. Once the formula has been entered correctly in cell A3 you can use the fill technique to add the formula to each cell in the feedback column.

If you don’t know how to fill, you can also copy and paste the formula. Select and copy the cell with the formula. Select all of the cells you need in the Feedback column and paste the formula.
